To commemorate International Women’s Day, Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM), in association with Wuerth Elektronik India Pvt Ltd., presented the ‘Mysuru Mahila Ratna Puraskara’ to six women achievers to recognize their contribution in their respective fields and awardees launched `We Mill' products on the event.

What: To commemorate International Women’s Day, Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM), in association with Wuerth Elektronik India Pvt Ltd., presented the ‘Mysuru Mahila Ratna Puraskara’ to six women achievers to recognize their contribution in their respective fields.

 Adding value to the event, the women achievers along with our 14 We Mill Women and Chief Guest Smt K. Lalitha G.T.Devegowda, President, Karnataka State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation Ltd (KSCCF), GRAAM’s Executive Director, Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshtha, Wuerth Elektronik India Pvt Ltd’s Managing Director, Mr. Harsha Adya, Dr Usha Dharmaraj, Senior Technical Officer, Department of Grain Sciences and Technology, CSIR-CFTRI and Dr Sathyendra Rao B V, Chief Scientist, Technology Transfer & Business Development, CSIR-CFTRI launched the ‘We Mill’ products.

 When: The event took place on March 15, 2022 Wuerth Elektronik India Pvt Ltd’s Koorgally campus.

Who: The Mysuru women achievers who received the ‘Mahila Ratna Puraskara’ included,  Smt. P. Bhramarambha Maheshwari (Veda and Sanskruthi), First women priest of the country and founder of Ishavyasa Veda Nada Kendra, Mysuru; Ms. Sangeetha (Art), Art teacher, Government High School, G B Sargur;  Mrs. Rachana Mahesh(Education),  Managing Director – Edukare ITES, No-1 Computer Training & Placement Institution; Savitha Mallappa (entrepreneurship), CEO at rProcess, Mysuru; Mrs. Sumana M N, (Social Worker), Activist and Advocate, Shakthidhama Women Rehabilitation Center and  Ms Veena M (sports), Kreeda  Ratna Award Winners for "Kho Kho", International Kho Kho player received the award.

What is We Mill: ‘We Mill’ is a social business initiative undertaken by Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM) with a corporate partner - Wuerth Elektronik India Private Limited and CSIR-CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute) for the necessary technical supporter - with rural wealth creation at the helm of the initiative.

 A Box of Health: The healthy range of Ragi-based products include We Mill Ragi Mudde (a 5-minute Mudde premix), We Mill Ragi ‘Malt n Shake,’ We Mill Shishuposhan (Stages I, II, and III), We Mill Ragi Flour and We Mill Ragi Premium Flour.
