Associate – Communications & Policy Engagement

Position Summary:

The incumbent is based in Bangalore office of GRAAM and is responsible to coordinate with various project heads to collate and publish newsletters, short stories, social media handlings and annual report of GRAAM. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting in Grants/proposal writing in close coordination with SM CPE & DD Research.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Disseminating Bimonthly / Quarterly Newsletter drafts for review of SM – CPE.
  • Develop news items, press release, research briefs, policy briefs as soon as projects are initiated and completed
  • Independently handling social media of GRAAM and Convening Communication & Information Dissemination Committee
  • Grant Writing / Proposal Writing support to the Researchers and Project Managers as and when required. Review of proposal to ensure GRAAM format and language correctness.
  • Media (Press) Coordination: Periodical update of list, communication of key project information, programs, achievements

Key Result Areas( KRAs) and Indicators:

  • Up to 15 informative updates per month on Social Medial Pages of GRAAM (linked to CSR connect) in coordination with SM CPE
  • Quarterly ‘GRAAM Policy Scan’ (in both written and brief video format) that provides an
  • update on GRAAM activities, research updates and interesting development insights
  • 4 independent articles for the newsletter
  • 04 newspaper or periodical article inputs to the ED (half yearly)
  • Research Briefs – Based on Evaluation Projects
  • 20 Fact Sheets – in coordination with team
  • 02 Communication/Advocacy Events (Support role)
  • GRAAM Communication / PR Data Base( continuation, update and maintenance of the same in close coordination with Strategic Communications team)
  • Draft Annual Report, team work
  • A video on GRAAM/short videos of GRAAM programs as per the requirements
  • A brochure / handbook on GRAAM’s Successful Endeavors in brining Change
