Dr. Ananya Samajdar
Head - Research
Dr. Ananya joined GRAAM's research team in August 2018. She was awarded a PhD from the National University of Singapore, for her doctoral research in Political Science on accountability and performance of Panchayati Raj Institutions in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. Prior to joining GRAAM, she worked with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai. She headed the Project Proposal Evaluation vertical at National CSR Hub, TISS and served as a Resource Person on CSR Law for several CSR training sessions. Ananya also worked as a lecturer in the departments of Political Science and Mass Media at Wilson College, Mumbai.
At GRAAM, Dr Ananya has been involved in research and evaluation studies in the area of health and skill development. She is a resource person for the public policy training sessions organized by GRAAM in partnership with Quality Council of India and Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership.
