Research Fellow
Dr Swamy H M is working as a Senior Research Fellow in GRAAM. Prior to joining GRAAM he worked as a Research Fellow in various agriculture and allied sector projects namely
1. Strengthening of agricultural marketing and agribusiness management in Karnataka.
2. Estimation of demand and supply for horticultural crops and yield estimation of coconuts in the districts of Tumkuru.
3. Causes and consequences of e-NAM on the development of India Agriculture.
4. Does Antimicrobial resistance in livestock contribute to AMR in people in North East India? An interdisciplinary study investigating, Antibiotic use, Drivers of AMR, and transmission dynamics.
Swamy has completed his masters in Agricultural Economics. His doctoral studies deal with “Spatial and temporal crop diversification in India and their consequences on agriculture”. He was awarded with Best research scholar -2018 award in Agricultural Economics (During the conference).
His other hobbies include Swimming, Listening to music, Playing Cricket & Badminton, Adventurous activities, and Cooking.
