Gary Fields

Gary Fields has taught at Ivy League schools for more than thirty years and is now presently a professor at Cornell University. He is involved with the Department of Labor Economics in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Johnson Graduate School of Management where he teaches and researches about labor economics, workplace management, and development economics. He was the chair of the Department of Labor Economics three times. In addition to his professorship at Cornell, he has published more than 100 books and articles. His deep knowledge of issues of development, poverty, and inequality is indispensable in helping GRAAM achieve its mission.
