GRAAM, in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) – India and the Department of Studies in Social Work, University of Mysore, is proud to host the International Youth Day (IYD) 2025 celebrations in Mysuru. This flagship event under GRAAM’s Youth for Governance (Y4G) Fellowship is dedicated to empowering young changemakers and amplifying their role in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level.
The 2025 edition, themed “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond”, will showcase how young people are bridging global aspirations with grassroots realities through civic engagement, innovation, and leadership. The day-long celebration will feature an exciting mix of competitions, interactive sessions, and cultural performances, including:

Youth Band Performance celebrating local culture
The event will bring together students, youth leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. Winners and participants will be recognized with certificates of achievement and special awards, while all attendees will gain valuable exposure to governance processes, civic responsibility, and SDG-linked local action.
