WeMill Women Shine at Vidhana Soudha
GRAAM’s award winning social business WeMill Project shone at the recent centenary celebration programme of Karnataka Administrative Service Officers at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall on the August 9th, 2023. Karnataka State Women’s Development Corporation’s Managing Director Mrs. Pushplatha. H, provided us with marketing support to promote our “We Mill” products at the event. During the event, almost all the departments came forward to visit our stall and purchased the We Mill products. One of the social welfare departments also came forward to purchase Ragi cookies for office use.
Conceptualized with Wurth Elektronik on the idea of ‘rural wealth creation’, We Mill is a rural social business that has contributed significantly towards sustainable livelihood of 14 first-generation women entrepreneurs from Bilikere village of Mysuru district.
