Dr. Prakash Nair is a Leadership Development and Human Resource professional, and currently runs his own independent practice, Axon Consulting, based at Mysore. Prior to this he was with Infosys Ltd, a global IT and Business consulting organization employing close to 200,000 people. He was an Associate Vice President at Infosys and was responsible for Leadership Development of senior leaders in his role as Senior Group Leader at the Infosys Leadership Institute. A summary of his experience and qualification is below:

• Dr. Prakash has over twenty-five years of experience in diverse roles which includes managing large sales teams, coaching and training sales professionals, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and training and coaching managers and senior leaders
• He started his career in sales and worked for a multinational consumer durable company for over nine years, managing various sales functions
• He worked for Texas A&M University for close to ten years in various training and teaching roles including as a Visiting Faculty
• He has a Doctorate Degree in HRD from Texas A&M University. He did his Executive Education in Global Leadership from Stanford University
• He has been training and coaching leaders in various leadership skills including Influence, Communication, and Charismatic leadership. He is a Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT), the only certified facilitator in India who is licensed to teach Principles of Persuasion, and one among nineteen worldwide. He has facilitated leadership sessions for managers and leaders across the globe.
• He has articles published in both scholarly and practitioner journals and has presented papers at international forums. His research in the area of HRD won him two prestigious awards in the US.

Alongside his professional and research interests over the years he has been engaged in social and community development initiatives. He was the CSR Convener for Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysore Chapter, and has led multiple initiatives to bring the industry bodies and NGOs at Mysore to work together for community development.
