GRAAM’s community consultation activities are dedicated to find answers to these and many similar questions, and understand grassroots perspectives. In addition to tools and techniques deployed to capture qualitative information from the communities, the deep sense of connecting with people’s issues and contexts helps GRAAM unravel what really works on the ground – be it Govt. programs, CSR and other philanthropic initiatives or any development interventions by NGOs. Backed by a multidisciplinary research team, GRAAM’s community consultation activities are characterized by an academic rigor along with concern for development and strong ethical considerations. Community consultation is also done to understand people’s problem, to understand their awareness on social programs and entitlements, reflections on ongoing social programs etc.
