In January 2016, GRAAM is conferred with prestigious A.P.Chowdappa Memorial Award recognizing its policy research and advocacy by Global Communication Association.
The Rural Women Entrepreneurship Project ‘WE MILL’ by GRAAM won the Champion of Cause category at the MSME Honours 2023, hosted by Tally Solutions on June 23, 2023. GRAAM's We Mill project, supported by Wurth Electronik, which aims to create rural wealth. The award committee received over 5000 nominations and GRAAM's initiative stood out among the top 100 finalists.
Recognizing GRAAM’s innovation in incorporating technology for promoting community-based health systems monitoring and advocacy, Public Interest Registry (PIR), USA and Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF), New Delhi, India jointly awarded the first prize.

Empaneled And Recognized By
Department of Planning State Planning Commission Government of Uttarakhand has empanlled with with GRAAM as one of the recognized agencies to conduct evaluation of Government programs.
The Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog, and Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM) have signed a Statement of Intent for strategic and technical collaboration to strengthen M&E of government programmes and policies in India, with areas of cooperation including technical assistance, capacity building, and advocacy and communications.
GRAAM is empaneled by Karnataka Evaluation Authority as one of the recognized agencies to conduct evaluation of Government programs. GRAAM supported planning department of Govt of Karnataka to establish KEA and developed Empanelment Manual and Output Grading Manual for KEA.
GRAAM is proud to have received its EDCertified status through NGOsource! This milestone enhances our ability to collaborate globally, especially with US-based grantmakers. Our Equivalency Determination certificate is now on file in the NGOsource repository, certifying us as equivalent to a US public charity. This certification will open new doors for partnerships and grants from US foundations.
