Job Location: Vidisha district in Madhya Pradesh

Grassroots Research And Advocacy Movement (GRAAM) is hiring Community Facilitator (CF) to work under Project Swasthya Swaraj. This is a dynamic field-based role focused on strengthening public health services and engaging with the Panchayati Raj system at the grassroots level.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

1.Preparation of Local Institutional Profiles

• • Preparation of Gram Panchayat Profile
  • Development of Ayushman Arogya Mandira (AB-HWC/ Sub-Health Centre) profile
  • Compilation of profiles for Primary Health Centres and other health facilities

 

2. Preparation of profiles for various community participation health-related committees

• • Village Health, Sanitation, and Nutrition Committee (VHSNC)
  • Jan Arogya Samiti (at AB-HWC and PHC levels)
  • Arogya raksha samithi (at PHC and higher health institutions)
  • Health Planning and Monitoring Committee (at PHC level)
  • Village Water and Sanitation Committee
  • Balavikasa samithi

 

3. Preparation of Profiles of Community-Based Organizations

• • Gram Panchayat Level Sanjeevini Federation (GPLF)
  • Ward Level Sanjeevini Federations
  • Sanjeevini Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
  • Other SHGs formed by community initiatives or NGOs (optional)

 

4. Completion of Baseline Survey under the Swasthya Swaraj Initiative

4. • Health status survey
   • IDIs and FGDs of PR-ERs and Officials and Health-FLWs and Officials
   • Checklist of institutions like GP, HWC-AAM, HWC-PHC
   • Checklist of VHSNC and JAS
   • Any other survey or interaction with the stakeholders involved in the project

 

5. Organization of Trainings and Related Programs

4. • Organize Training of Trainers (ToT) for community facilitators and stakeholders
   • Mobilize participation of stakeholders in orientation and launch events of the Swasthya Swaraj

 

6. Participation in Capacity Building Activities

• • Actively participate in capacity-building programs organized by the institution, including training sessions, review meetings, and progress monitoring events

 

7. Participation in Other Contextual Activities

• • Participate in additional relevant programs and activities as directed by the project supervisors and higher authorities of GRAAM.

We’re looking for motivated individuals with

• Postgraduate degree (MSW/MPH/Sociology) and 1+ year of experience in health or governance OR Graduate degree (BSW/Social Science) with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Key skills include: fluency in Kannada (English desirable), strong documentation, and experience in community mobilization, meeting facilitation, and training coordination and Basic Computer Skills.
• This role offers hands-on field exposure, specialized training, and a strong foundation for careers in public health, community development, and the social sector.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Hunsur and nearby areas.
