Project objectives:

Election Commission in Karnataka carried out a scientific baseline study to gauge the level of knowledge, attitude and participation/practices of voters in elections. The main objective of this project was to provide input and feedback for an effective campaign strategy by understanding the ground realities and perceptions of voters. This study aimed at understanding perceptions of people, both general and specific, about the elections, the electoral process and the initiatives undertaken by the election Commission.
