Become an Intern at GRAAM


The organization provides exciting opportunities for students and young professionals to work as an intern with its ongoing programs. The engagement will benefit the intern not only to learn the nuances of being part of a research team but also give an exposure to work with communities at ground. Also, interns will have the opportunity to work with a team from diverse disciplines as GRAAM works in wide range of issues and have experts in all the said issues.

Duration

  • Minimum duration: 3 to 4 weeks (Interns involving in research activities are encouraged to work for a minimum of 2 months).
  • Maximum duration: There is no maximum duration suggested, but the progress of the interns would be thoroughly reviewed once every 3 months.

Application Process

GRAAM accepts internship applications from undergraduate and graduate students (Masters and PhD programmes) from Indian and foreign colleges and universities throughout the year. However, applications will be processed based on the availability of internship opportunities for different projects. Also, the nature of work and duration of the internship will vary significantly based on the projects in which the interns will involve.

GRAAM reviews internships through the ‘GRAAM Internship Committee (GIC)’ to evaluate the applications and coordinate the processes. Mr. Bhagavan Bidarakote convenes the GIC for the current year. Please apply for an internship at the link given below. You may reach the internship committee at  internship@graam.org.in. Each applicant undergoes a careful screening process, which takes about two weeks.
