Dr. Ravindra Kumar is a seasoned public health professional with over 17 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale health programs across India. His expertise spans maternal and child health, nutrition, adolescent health, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and behavior change communication. He has worked extensively with UNICEF-supported initiatives and state health programs across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, contributing to impactful, community-centered health interventions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ravindra has demonstrated strong capabilities in program implementation, capacity building, community engagement, and monitoring and evaluation. He has also been actively involved in digital health innovations, including initiatives such as Kilkari and Mobile Academy, leveraging technology to improve health awareness and service delivery at scale.

He has worked with several leading national and international organizations, including Micronutrient Initiative (now Nutrition International), Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), World Vision India, Plan India, IPE Global, Deepak Foundation, and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), contributing to a wide range of public health programs and system-strengthening efforts.

Dr. Ravindra has contributed to several flagship public health programs, including the AHANA – PPTCT Program, NTEP-PPSA & Axshya India TB Control Program, RajPusht Nutrition Program, and various maternal, child health, immunization, and adolescent health initiatives across multiple states. His work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening grassroots health systems and improving access to essential services.

He is associated with leading public health and nutrition initiatives through collaborations with government health departments, UNICEF-supported programs, and development sector organizations. He has also contributed to academic discourse, presenting a research paper titled “Improving Reproductive Health Access for Rural School-Going Adolescent Girls” at the International Conference on Emerging Challenges and Research Frontiers in Digital Transformation (Vikrant University, Gwalior, January 2026).
