Head – Projects and Community Action

G Mallikarjuna Swamy is a veteran Project Management and Development professional with over 19 years of experience in the Government and Development sectors. Holding a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Sociology with a specialization in Human Resources and Social Engagement respectively. He has built extensive expertise in capacity building, leadership development and policy advocacy, with a strong focus on advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

His career has been marked by significant contributions to training and development initiatives aimed at strengthening governance and community engagement. Prior to his current role at GRAAM, he was associated with ANSSIRDPR, SVYM, and other esteemed development institutions, where he played a key role in designing and executing training programs for elected representatives, government officers, community-based organizations and NGOs. His responsibilities encompassed curriculum development, materials development, training facilitation, stakeholder engagement, program execution, research, and administrative coordination, ensuring the effective delivery of capacity-building interventions.

Currently serving as Head – Projects and Community Action at GRAAM, he leads various projects with a strong emphasis on community engagement and implementation, ensuring that initiatives are grounded in social development principles. His strategic approach, combined with a deep understanding of governance and community dynamics, enables him to drive impactful programs that foster sustainable change at the grassroots level.
