Yashaswini is a public health professional with experience in academic teaching, health systems research, and implementation studies. Has served as a District Coordinator and Project Coordinator for multiple implementation and qualitative research projects, and as a Lecturer in a medical college, contributing to both teaching and field-based public health practice. An active member of professional networks including the Karnataka Allied Health Professionals Association (KAHPA) and the International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL). Project experience includes formative research to strengthen comprehensive primary health care in Mysore City, vaccination outreach under the LASIKE Express project with CARE India, participation in the Indian Health System Collaboration qualitative study, and assessment of local health system preparedness for rabies. Has published research on the clinico-epidemiological profile and treatment costs of dengue at a tertiary care hospital in Mysuru. Outside of professional work, enjoys writing and travelling.
