HP FUTURES: Foundation for Upskilling, Teacher Excellence, Understanding, Readiness, Equity, and Sustainability

GRAAM is undertaking the Process Evaluation of the HP FUTURES project, an initiative supported by UNESCO that aims to strengthen PM Shri schools in Himachal Pradesh by promoting Competency-Based Education (CBE), 21st Century Skills, Value education through Sports,  Greening Education.  The evaluation focuses on assessing how effectively the project is being implemented, the quality and fidelity of programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and the enabling factors and challenges influencing implementation across the state.

Using a mixed-methods research design, the study engages with teachers, school leaders, students, education officials, and other key stakeholders to generate evidence on programme processes, institutional readiness, capacity-building efforts, and early implementation outcomes. The findings will provide actionable recommendations to strengthen implementation, improve teacher professional development, enhance learning experiences, and support the long-term sustainability and scalability of HP FUTURES within the government education system.

This evaluation reflects GRAAM’s commitment to advancing evidence-informed education policy and practice, contributing to stronger public education systems through rigorous research, participatory evaluation, and continuous learning.
