The government of Karnataka has entrusted GRAAM with developing the (Revised) Skill Development Policy for the state. Karnataka has been a pioneer state in innovation and technology leading to a boom in start-ups and driving employment across skills and sectors. The department of skill development, entrepreneurship and livelihood has implemented various programs to make Karnataka a skilled state. In order to provide more impetus to growth and development, the government has decided to have a futuristic policy to add to the skilled workforce.
Under the able leadership of Dr Basavaraju R Shreshta, Executive Director, GRAAM had earlier contributed to the Skill Policy and Vision Document for the state.
