To analyze the status of the Grama Panchayat and Block across various socio-economic parameters, in terms of coverage of various development Interventions Health and Nutrition, Education and Skills, Livelihood and employment at Sandur, To conduct a Community Needs Assessment using participatory methodology and tools developed by GRAAM , Suggesting Key Community Development Interventions based on the Needs of the Community.

Objective

• To understand the status of development at the Grama Panchayat Level in terms of availability of community resources, socio-economic issues, and development needs.
• To study the development status and reach of Government and other schemes to the people across all the panchayats.
• To understand community needs and priorities through a participatory approach.
• To provide a development roadmap for the Sandur block at the overarching level based on empirical evidence and expert consultation, which can be used by Government, NGOs, and CSR organizations for need-based development projects through a ‘complementary approach’.
