Gopala O K holds an MA (Kannada) and a B.Ed. degree from Mysuru University. He began his career as a life skills facilitator at Hanumanthapura Government High School and was later promoted to a state-level life skills facilitator for Sugamya Shiksha.
At GRAAM, he served as a life skills facilitator for Sugamya Shiksha, a comprehensive school development model designed to create an enabling learning environment in government schools. He represented GRAAM in the No School Bag Day state-level committee, contributing to the development of various tools, including a handbook on activities for the initiative, and delivering talks at state-level workshops organized by the education department.
His successful implementation of activities such as Solid Waste Management at Bhuvanahalli Government School, Hassan, in the presence of the Honourable Director of Primary Education, earned him commendation. His innovative and activity-based teaching methods have made him popular among students and the teaching fraternity. He has also developed activity handbooks for language and mathematics based on age groups and conducted state-level training in these subjects.

In the Communications and Policy Engagement (CPE) vertical, he plays a key role in designing public relations tools, reports, and other out-of-home (OOH) materials. His expertise in various design software, along with his strategic approach to social media and website management, has made a significant impact in this domain. He is also responsible for designing tools for academic initiatives, presentations, and facilitation engagements. His interests include photography, reading, music, and writing.
