Aspiration Inspiration Motivation (AIM) To build aspiration among students to pursue higher / professional Education

Aspirations are dreams, hopes, or ambitions to achieve a life goal. They can be thought of as overarching life goals that can help provide a sense of purpose and direction’. Once their own level of aspiration, may be connected to their own sense of self-worth. Aspiration needs a catalyst or element that invigorates thoughts and beliefs.That role is played by the inspiration. To take the aspirations forward motivation is required that propels people to action and keeps them in action.

AIM will help students weigh their values, interests, aptitudes, abilities and aspirations against those required for various careers. Support in planning the career that is a good fit for their skills and interests. It will provide them with information and resources to help them make this decision and are more confident in pursuing their personal goals. 12 career sectors were introduced to students and the requirement of education qualification to acquire these careers. Sessions were conducted at schools guiding and supporting student as they embark on this journey of exploration and discovery, ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary to thrive in their chosen paths

Based on GRAAM experiences, the AIM program was designed to provide guidance for course selection, college admissions, and career building. It aims to create an environment that harnesses children’s creativity and provides exposure to information and knowledge.

  • Foster aspirations among students to pursue higher or professional education, aligning with the objective of instilling awareness about diverse career opportunities and pathways.
  • Offer students comprehensive information to facilitate informed decision-making regarding their educational pursuits, emphasizing career-oriented choices.
  • Empower students to envision ambitious goals and motivate them to strategize and work towards their aspirations

08-10 Inspirational Lectures by renowned achievers from the field of space science, administrative & uniform services, medicine, agriculture, academia, arts, culture, gender etc

Students will be exposed to skills

Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Basics Entrepreneurial Skills

Project Results / Accomplishments

  1. Enhanced Self-Awareness and Career Clarity
    Students conducted in-depth self-assessments, reflecting on their personal strengths, interests, and skills. This process helped them understand how these attributes align with various career paths, giving them a clearer vision of their future goals.
  2. Sector-Wise Career Understanding
    By exploring seven major employment sectors and analyzing their evolution over time, students gained a comprehensive understanding of current trends and emerging opportunities. This enabled them to make informed decisions regarding their educational and career planning.
  3. Development of Personalized Career Frameworks
    Students designed structured frameworks outlining potential career paths, strategies for achieving them, and milestones to monitor progress. These plans were tailored to their individual interests and aspirations, promoting long-term success.
  4. Inspirational Exposure through Role Models
    The screening of ‘My Country, My Pride’ introduced students to accomplished professionals from diverse fields such as science, defence, and law enforcement. These stories inspired and motivated students, expanding their understanding of possibilities beyond conventional careers.
  5. Practical Knowledge on Educational and Experiential Pathways
    Students were equipped with practical knowledge on pursuing higher education and gaining relevant experience. They learned about colleges, universities, vocational and diploma programs, ITI courses, internships, volunteering, and extracurricular engagements as stepping stones toward their career goals.
