GRAAM is offering suggestions and inputs concerning the survey tools and sampling, which is being conducted on a large scale by Anahata UE Foundation’s program staff with support from governmental resources. GRAAM’s technical support for the Voice of Students Survey includes reviewing draft study tools, proposing additions for policy engagement, providing sampling inputs, finalizing survey tools, digitizing questionnaires, ensuring quality control measures, cleaning survey data, and supporting the preparation and conduct of FGDs and IDIs to elucidate survey findings.
To conduct surveys of 8th, 9th, and 10th class students across Government schools and Government Residential schools who provided responses on the Career Planning Curriculum they have undergone in their schools. In addition to students, teachers, parents, and school alumni have also shared their responses.
The survey was conducted in 5 districts of Bangalore’s educational division. Other than intervention schools, inputs from a similar response group were also collected from control group schools.
The result of the survey is being tabled at the Symposium called My Future My Voice on the 29th of February 2024. This symposium will provide a platform to assimilate valuable ideas and thoughts and also deliberate on the roles to be played by all the key stakeholders in realizing our demographic dividend.
