GRAAM

We Mill-A Social Business Initiatives for Rural Women

We Mill is a pioneering social business initiative by GRAAM, designed to empower rural women and promote Rural Wealth Creation through sustainable, millet-based enterprises. By turning traditional crops like ragi into nutritious products and market opportunities, We Mill addresses both livelihood development and nutrition security in rural communities.

Our mission is to nourish communities, empower women, and champion sustainable food systems. Our vision is to unlock the potential of millet-based ecosystems, where women thrive, and rural economies grow from within.

Project Objective

  • Empower rural women with sustainable livelihood opportunities, eradicate poverty and ensure a decent quality of life.
  • Develop and promote millet-based food products, establishing effective marketing channels and value chains.
  • Foster sustainable agriculture practices that benefit local farmers and contribute to the Millet Mission.
  • Enhance nutritional well-being.
  • Build a replicable, women-led social enterprise model, promoting women’s empowerment, community development, and environmental sustainability.
