GRAAM successfully organized a Governance Talk Series under the Youth for Governance Fellowship – Mysuru 2025 on the theme “Participatory Governance for Environmentally Sustainable Cities: Engaging Youth and Citizens” at the Department of Environmental Science, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru.

The session brought together three distinguished speakers whose expertise and experience enriched the conversation on urban sustainability and civic engagement:

- Mr. Madhukar M Assistant Executive Engineer (Environment), Mysuru City Corporation
- Mr. Ramesh Kikkeri Renowned Environmentalist, Mysuru

The session was presided over by Dr. Ravisha K A, Dean, School of Life Sciences, JSS AHER, with Mr. Bhagavan Bidarakote serving as the Guest of Honour.

The speakers emphasized the importance of sustainable practices at the community level and encouraged active youth participation in environmental initiatives, including:
🌱 Promoting the use of biodegradable alternatives to reduce plastic pollution
♻️ Waste segregation at the household level to improve recycling and resource recovery
🌳 Tree plantation and green conservation drives to enhance urban green cover and biodiversity
