In collaboration with K J Somaiya Institute of Management, GRAAM successfully conducted a three-day Capacity Building Workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) for Social Impact Projects, bringing together both conceptual depth and hands-on application in impact assessment.
Through this workshop, GRAAM aimed to strengthen the capacity of development practitioners by introducing them to evolving development paradigms and global frameworks such as the SDGs. The sessions covered key MEL concepts, including Results-Based Management and Theory of Change, while equipping participants with practical tools to build indicators and design robust evaluation frameworks.
The workshop further focused on strategic impact reporting, diverse evaluation methodologies, and the institutionalisation of MEL systems. This enabled participating organisations to move towards more transparent, accountable, and outcome-driven approaches to social impact.
