GRAAM successfully hosted a One-Day Capacity Building Program for NGOs, on the 23rd December, bringing together 28+ voluntary organizations for a day of learning, reflection, and collaboration.
The program focused on strengthening organizational systems, compliance, and sustainability in the social sector through expert-led sessions:
🔹 Legal & Governance – Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshta (Executive Director) shared critical insights on legal compliance and the responsibilities of governing boards.
🔹 Finance & Compliance – Mr. Rakesh Rokhade unpacked key aspects of taxation, financial accounting, and foreign funding (FCRA).
🔹 Fundraising & CSR – Mr. Bhagavan Bidarakote led an engaging session on fundraising strategies, CSR opportunities, and NGO portal registrations.
🔹 Documentation & Reporting – Dr. Rajendra Prasad highlighted best practices for documentation and impact reporting.
It was inspiring to witness NGOs learning together, exchanging experiences, and strengthening their capacity for greater social impact.
🌱 When NGOs grow stronger, communities thrive.
