In collaboration with the District Health Office (DHO), GRAAM successfully conducted a workshop on Validating Competency Assessment Tools, bringing together over 15 subject experts from the Departments of Health, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, and Women & Child Development.
The workshop served as a platform for cross-sectoral dialogue, enabling experts to collectively review, refine, and strengthen competency frameworks aimed at building a more skilled and responsive workforce in Karnataka. Through collaborative discussions and practical insights, participants contributed to enhancing the robustness and contextual relevance of the assessment tools.
The session was enriched by the presence of a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Basavaraju R. Shrestha (Executive Director, GRAAM), Dr. Mohammad Siraj Ahamad (RCHO), and practitioners from across the region who brought valuable on-ground perspectives to strengthen the capability-building process.
This initiative underscores the importance of institutional collaboration in driving systemic improvements. By working together, GRAAM and the DHO Office continue to advance efforts toward building capacity, strengthening service delivery, and fostering evidence-based approaches within the development ecosystem.
