GRAAM was pleased to host the opening workshop of True Cost Workshop Season 3 on the 18th November 2025, in Bengaluru, marking another important step in strengthening financial transparency and sustainability across India’s NGO ecosystem.
With 16 workshops completed and 180+ NGOs engaged across the country, the True Cost Computation and Communication initiative continues to grow as a national learning platform for building resilient, accountable, and financially sustainable organisations.
The Bengaluru workshop was held under the Pay-What-It-Takes (PWIT) India Initiative of The Bridgespan Group, and was facilitated by Aria CFO Services, under the leadership of Shashank R. The session brought together NGO leaders and practitioners for deep, reflective conversations on understanding, computing, and communicating the real cost of running sustainable organisations.
The workshop created a safe and collaborative space for participants to engage openly, question existing practices, and explore more realistic approaches to budgeting, cost structures, and funder communication.
What stood out was the depth of engagement from participants, their willingness to reflect, learn, and collectively unpack what it truly means to build financially resilient organisations. The conversations extended beyond numbers to include governance, organisational sustainability, ethical funding relationships, and long-term impact.
We are grateful to Aria CFO Services, Shashank R., and The Bridgespan Group for partnering with us to bring this important learning space to Bengaluru. We also thank every participating organisation and leader for their openness, trust, and commitment to strengthening institutional capacity in the social sector.
At GRAAM, we remain committed to creating platforms that strengthen organisations, systems, and partnerships, because sustainable development begins with strong institutions.
