GoK has appointed Dr Balu, our founder and chairman to head the expert committee for formulating Karnataka State Youth Policy 2021.
Dr R Balasubrahmaniam, Founder and Chairman, GRAAM has been nominated as the Head of the committee constituted to form Karnataka Youth Policy-2021.
GoK has formed a 13-member expert committee to elicit opinion about expectations from the new policy. After compilation of views and ideas, the committee is expected to submit a final report on new policy to the government within the time frame of two months.
The expert committee has been formed considering the need for revising youth policy to meet the current demands in contemporary society. The committee holds the responsibility of submitting a comprehensive skill report aiming to provide an opportunity and support to the youth.
The policy will focus on preventing teenagers from drug abuse, emphasise on technology and innovations, prioritise sports through strengthening youth organisations and inculcating leadership qualities among the youth.
