The Government of Karnataka has entrusted GRAAM with the development of a futurist skill policy that would provide more impetus to the growth and development of the skill sector.
The government of Karnataka has entrusted GRAAM with developing the (Revised) Skill Development Policy for the state. Karnataka has been a pioneer state in innovation and technology leading to a boom in start-ups and driving employment across skills and sectors. The Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood has implemented various programs to make Karnataka a skilled state. In order to provide more impetus to the growth and development of the skill sector, the government has decided to have a futuristic policy to add to the skilled workforce.
Under the able leadership of Dr Basavaraju R Shreshta, Executive Director, GRAAM had earlier contributed to the Skill Policy and Vision Document for the state.Â
