GRAAM’s Factsheets gets a launchpad at 3PE

Factsheets bearing the results and recommendations of the studies undertaken by GRAAM were launched by bureaucrats in New Delhi

New Delhi: GRAAM in collaboration with the ILR School of Cornell University conducted a 13-day workshop on Public Policy and Program Evaluation from May 23 to June. The workshop was an august occasion to share knowledge about policies and policymaking, amidst the workshop, GRAAM launched multiple factsheets on the research studies conducted by the organization

 These factsheets were launched by the special guest lecturers- renowned bureaucrats and industry experts who shared their expertise on the subject matter. 

 Informative and insightful factsheets on the ‘Evaluation Study of Out Of Pocket Expenditure Incurred for Maternal Health Care by BPL Women in Karnataka in Public Health facilities.’ was launched on May 27 in the presence of Dr Ravi Kumar AV- Deputy Chief of Party, Nishtha-Jhpiego and Dr Arun Karpur and Director- Autism Speaks.

 On May 28, the factsheets on the evaluation study of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in Karnataka were launched in the presence of Dr Bonu, Prof Sachin Chaturvedi, Director-General, RIS Delhi and Dr R Balasubramaniam, Founder-GRAAM and Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshta,  Executive Director of GRAAM.

Two volumes on the ‘Free Supply of Bicycles Scheme- Karnataka’ was launched by Dr Balasubramaniam, in the presence of Mr Praveen Singh Pardeshi, Member (Admin) Capacity Building Commission on May 31. Mr Pardeshi was here to deliver a lecture on ‘Making Public Policies Result Oriented.’

Likewise, on June 2, Prof Yugank Goyal from Flame University along with Mr Hemang Jani, Secretary, Capacity Building Commission launched two volumes of factsheets representing the ‘Evaluation study of NOAPS and SSY Schemes for the Senior Citizens’. Mr Jani also delivered a lecture on Accrediting Central Training Institute- Evaluation of Institutions’.
