Youth for Governance Fellowship – Mysuru(Y4G)
Youth for Governance Fellowship Program aims at building a capacity of youth towards participatory governance and makes them active by providing a platform of fellowship. Youth engagement in civic participation and governance is facing significant limitations, with bleak participation in democracy/governance. To motivate the youth towards participatory governance, this program is being rolled out, for the students pursuing higher education from recognized colleges/universities in Mysuru.
GRAAM will facilitate this nine-month-long “Youth for Governance fellowship – Mysuru” fellowship in association with Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA) and Hans Seidel Foundation. Selected fellows from different parts of Mysuru will be trained in various training modules such as Governance, participation; citizenship, society, and social accountability during the period of the fellowship. This fellowship is an apt platform for the students to augment knowledge, hone skills, and contribute to urban governance issues.
