“Youth for Governance Fellowship – Mysuru” is a fellowship program facilitated by GRAAM in association with Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA) and Hans Seidel Foundation.
What is Y4G: “Youth for Governance Fellowship – Mysuru” is a fellowship program facilitated by GRAAM in association with Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA) and Hans Seidel Foundation. Selected fellows from different parts of Mysuru will be trained on various training modules such as Governance, participation & citizenship, society, and social accountability during the period of fellowship and submit a thesis at the end of the term.
This fellowship is an apt platform for the students to augment knowledge, hone skills, and contribute to urban governance issues. Twenty-five fellows will become a part of the fellowship of a 9-month duration which will help build capacity in the space of urban governance.
Orientation: The team Youth for Governance Fellowship (Y4G) had conducted an Orientation program for faculties and students of various colleges in Mysuru elaborating on the features, needs, and importance of the fellowship.
The first orientation session was conducted in GRAAM followed by consecutive sessions at the University of Mysore, Vidya Vikas First Grade College, Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore.

Dr. R Balasubramaniam Member of Capacity Building Commission (HR) & Head of the committee for Karnataka Youth Policy-2021, Mr. Nataraj, Director for Nehru Yuva Kendra, Mr. Chakravarty Sulibele, Founder of Yuva Brigade & Sodari Nivedita Pratisthana and Mr Santosh Kenchamba, Founder of Rashtra Dharma and GRAAM Executive Director Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshta unveiled the poster on the occasion.
His Majesty Maharaja Yaduveer launched the poster and shared the video message appealing to the youth of Mysuru to join this fellowship and make the most of the opportunity.
