Various webinars were held by GRAAM as a part of C20 Working Group on Delivering Democracy.
An international webinar on ‘Youth for Democracy – Youth Led Democracy’ was conducted as part of a series of events organised by the C20 Working Group on Delivering Democracy.
Delegates from Brazil, South Africa, Argentina and India took the stage to discuss how active youth participation will strengthen the practice of democracy.
Another webinar on Inclusive democracy brought in speakers from Australia, France and Japan.
Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshta highlighted the need to empower all marginalized communities in the democracy process.
Lauren Power stressed on the importance and need for designing, creating and sustaining inclusive spaces for democracy to flourish. Pierre SUC-MELLA spoke about Inclusiveness being a cultural change and stressed that an Inclusive process is one, that can adapt to all sections of the society. Meg Jones on her sharing, spoke that every inclusive process needs to take into consideration two key things to make it successful – budgets and awareness building.
