The workshop highlighted the importance of participatory health planning process which involves appropriate articulation of community priorities along with solution/aspiration statements which can be customised according to the preference and ease of usage of the JAS.
A One-day workshop on “Health visioning exercise and Development of Health Plan” was organised as a part of project “Community Monitoring and Social Audit Mechanism” aims at improving health challenges faced by the community through formation of Jan Arogya Samiti (JAS), for the project field team members at Chaibasa, HQRS of West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on 6th September 2021.

Dr. Bharati Minz Nodal Person for the Tuberculosis, leprosy, HIV Aids and NCD in Chaibasa, Sunita Jojo Epidemiologist in the NCD Cell, BPM, STTs, BTTs, NCD district Program Coordinators, District for the project field team (DPMU)and team members from Jhpiego were participated in the event. Multiple trainings starting from conducting baseline survey, project induction to process involved in the formation of JAS and their role and responsibility etc imparted to the project team on a regular basis.
